Keisha Howard, a Certified Professional School Counselor, Certified Children and Teen's Etiquette Instructor, and active community volunteer, founded P.E.A.R.L. Girls and P.E.A.R.L. Girls of Promise, Inc. which are located in Dallas, Texas.
Keisha’s mission in life is to empower girls to be proud of their unique selves. She strives to instill confidence and character in girls. She is on a mission for girls to believe in themselves, to love who they are, and to know where they are going.
Professionally, Keisha taught school for several years prior to transitioning into the Mental Health Field. She has experience working with youth dealing with Depression, Eating Disorders, Body Image, Self-Esteem, and other teen/adolescent issues.
Keisha believes that becoming a P.E.A.R.L. Girl starts from within. She designed the program with hopes of girls developing their inner-beauty and self-confidence, which then, is positively reflected externally. She formed P.E.A.R.L. Girls with aspirations of guiding girls to realize their self-worth, to respect themselves and others, and to be independent young women who noticeably shine in their future. Her life's ministry is to "Empower Girls for a Promising Future”.
To date, there have been over 500 precious young ladies who have graduated from the P.E.A.R.L. Girls’ classes. Some local P.E.A.R.L. Girls’ clients have included Circle of Support, Inc., Rae’s Hope Inc., the Grace Tabernacle GEMS program, Girl Scouts of North Texas, Mesquite Friendship Baptist Church, the Valley View Mall, the Richardson Boys and Girls Club, the Vision of All-Stars organization, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Learning Center, and the Oak Cliff Presbyterian Church.

Keisha Howard is very active in her community. She is a member of the American School Counselor’s Association. She is also a volunteer co-Therapist of “The Girl’s Group”, an outpatient weekly therapy group for adolescent girls. She is the current coordinator for the "Girls Night Out" sleepover events at the St. Philips School and Community Center. She is a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated and the Dallas Urban League Young Professionals. She has also been nominated for the Cambridge Who's Who of America's Professional and Executive Women award.
