Miss DeLisha Shamise Huff is the proud daughter of Evelyn Brown and Llewellyn Huff. DeLisha is a 2009 graduate of Skyline High School in Dallas, Texas. DeLisha describes herself as a determined, self-motivated and humble young woman who enjoys being artistic, creative, and motivational.

DeLisha plans to further her education at Clark Atlanta University where she plans to study mass media arts with the hopes of one day becoming the Chief Executive Officer of Black Entertainment Television (BET). DeLisha also aspires to give back to her community by initiating a Girls Inc. in the Pleasant Grove area of Dallas.

DeLisha is most proud of obtaining Class President at Skyline High School for three consecutive years, being named Most Talented of her 2009 senior class, and of becoming a Radio DJ at Six Flags Over Texas.

Delisha is honored to hold the title of Miss P.E.A.R.L. of Dallas 2009 because she believes that she represents elegance, intelligence, and leadership which she feels every young lady should possess.

As Miss P.E.A.R.L., she plans to continue giving back to her community by volunteering at the Children's Medical Center. She also hopes to encourage sisterhood amongst younger girls. She offers these words of wisdom to the younger generation “as long as we believe in ourselves, build lifelong friendships, and keep God first we will achieve."

“Before P.E.A.R.L. Girls, I thought etiquette was for old people. But, now I know that having manners is just another way of respecting others. The workshops were exciting, and I’ll never forget what I learned because I use it every day."
